Swift Air gets $1.4m capital injection from Nimbos LLC

Swift Air (USA) has signed a definitive Plan Funding Term Sheet with Nimbos LLC providing the airline with a USD1.4million capital infusion and which will now pave the way for the company to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy come late September. Prior to June 2012 when the carrier filed for Chapter 11, Swift operated charter flights for various high profile US sport teams and politicians but was hit hard by the NBA lockout in the 2011-12 season, followed shortly thereafter by the NHL lockout in the 2012-13 season. The airline operates two B737-400s and six ERJ-135s.
