HiFly's A340-600 in service with CEIBA Intercontinental |
South Sudan's Kush Air (KUH) is set to take delivery of an Antonov An12 (unconfirmed MCN 9346302 | ST-KNS).
Equatorial Guinea's CEIBA Intercontinental (C2) has begun wet-leasing an A340-600, (MCN 383 | 9H-SEA), from Hi Fly Malta (HFM), the Maltese subsidiary of Portuguese ACMI specialists, Hi Fly (5K).
The aircraft is currently plying the airline's sole international route - a 3x weekly Malabo - Madrid Barajas service - in lieu of CEIBA's usual B777-200(LR), (MSN 40668 | CS-TQX). CS-TQX was recently requisitioned by Equatoguinean strongman, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, for use on official business at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Libyan Petroleum Charter operator, Petro Air (PEO), has ferried its Embraer 170 LR (MSN 170.00275 | 5A-PAA) from Misrata to Munich.
Sudan Airways (SD) has wet-leased an A310-300, (MCN 481 | JY-JAH), from Jordan Aviation (R5) ch-aviation has reported.
While the airline does suffer from a shortage of equipment owing to a US trade embargo, it is currently unknown whether the lease is for Hajj charters, or for short/long-term operations.
Westair Bénin (WH) has wet-leased a B737-200 Adv., (MSN 23912 | YU-ANP), from Serbian ACMI firm, Aviogenex (JJ).
The aircraft was ferried to Cotonou on September 23 and will be used to service the Beninois carrier's regional West African network replacing a B737-400 previously wet-leased from Tailwind Airlines (TI) last winter.
