Pakistan’s Shaheen Air International dismisses sale rumors

Shaheen Air International has dismissed rumors that it is up for sale as incorrectly reported by ch-aviation in late August.

According to SAI, there are no plans whatsoever by its current shareholders to sell the carrier that is currently going through a phase of rapid growth with five additional A320-200s on dry-lease from US aircraft lessor ILFC currently being prepared for the carrier.

SAI already operates two A320-200s, three A330-300s and nine B737-400s on domestic flights in Pakistan and international services to Kuwait, Oman, Saudi-Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
