Russia's Red Wings goes big at MAKS 2013 with deals for 30 jets


Red Wings signed various deals covering the acquisition of thirty new Russian and Western-made aircraft during the just ended MAKS 2013 International Air & Space salon at Moscow Zhukovsky. 

Among the contracts/memoranda signed include: a commitment with Novikombank for ten Tu-204SMs due between 2014/15; a Letter of Intent with the Ilyushin Finance Co. for 10 Irkut MC-21s due from 2019 onwards and an additional preliminary agreement for the lease of ten Dash 8-400s pending the finalization of an aircraft-assembly joint-venture agreement between Bombardier and Russian state-owned industrial conglomerate, Rostec.
