American Samoa's Manu'a Airways to launch in early December

Manu'a Airways  is now scheduled to launch operations in the first week of December using the American Samoan government's Islander, N684AS. Radio New Zealand says the airline was formed via a Memorandum of Understanding signed in July between the American Samoa Government and Inter Island Airways allowing the airline to take over operations of the aircraft.

Services will include flights from Pago Pago to Ofu and Tau. Ofu was last served in 2008 when operations were suspended citing inadequate runway length.
