Thai Airways marks 46th anniversary in Nepal

Thai Airways International (THAI) celebrated its 46th anniversary of successful operation in Nepal on Saturday.

During the function, various awards were distributed to top passenger and cargo sales agents along with the top supporting agents to recognize and express appreciation for their outstanding performance and support.

THAI has completed 50 years of operation. It operated its first flight to Kathmandu on December 4, 1968.

Speaking at the function, Chantouch Srinilta, general manager of Thai Airways for Nepal thanked all travel partners for supporting the airways and for safe landing in Nepal.
Srinilta gave away awards to top five passenger sales agents namely: Osho World Travels, President Travels, Harvest Moon Travels and Tours, Jaya Travels and Megabyte Travels. Similarly awards were also given to cargo sales agents: Legend Cargo, Pioneer Cargo, Swift Air Cargo and Ritual Trade.

Likewise, Yeti Travels bagged top supporting agent award, Gorkha Travels won the top tour sales award and Gandaki Travels received top group sales award.

Bardan Travels, Suruchi Travels and Himalayan Tours and Travels were awarded as top corporate sales agent and top government sales agent and top private sales agent respectively.
