Arik Air signs up for three CRJ1000s, four Q400s from Bombardier.

Nigeria's largest carrier, Arik Air (W3), has signed a firm contract to acquire three CRJ1000 NextGen aircraft and four Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners from Canadian aircraft manufacturer, Bombardier.
Based on the list price of the CRJ1000 NextGen and Q400 NextGen aircraft, the contract is valued at approximately USD297million.

ARIK's Q400

Arik Air currently operates six Bombardier aircraft - four CRJ900 aircraft and two Q400 NextGen aircraft - but will become the first airline to operate the 100-seater aircraft in Africa.
