Adria Airways picks Verona as third international focus city

Adria Airways has announced that it plans to make Verona its first Italian focus city with plans to resume routes from the airport in 2014. 

According to statements made by Chief Executive Mark Anzur, Adria plans to operate routes from Verona to Brussels National, Vienna and Zurich initially to feed the hubs of Star Alliance partners Brussels Airlines, Austrian Airlines and Swiss, routes previously dropped by Italian regional Air Dolomiti. Adria already has a CRJ-900 based in Pristina and also plans to develop non-stop services from Tirana to Western Europe.
